There are basically two ways to get the water into your RV… by connecting a hose to the city water inlet, or by filling your fresh water holding tank. Use a hose that is safe to use for drinking water. If you connect to the city water inlet, always use a pressure regulator. If you fill the fresh water holding tank, make sure the drain valve if there is one is closed. If the tank has a vent tube or valve, the tank will fill faster if the vent is opened. If the water chugs, glugs or spits back at you when filling the tank, either the tank does not have a vent, the vent is plugged or the vent is shut off. Turn the water faucet down a bit and let the tank fill at its own slow pace. Just turn on the faucets. At first, the water may sputter a bit due to air inside the lines, so let the water run until all the air has been purged from the lines.

Bathrooms Plumbing an entire bathroom may seem like a big project and in some cases it is. Running all the waste and water lines through floor joists and walls can take some planning and trial and error. That’s the hard part of plumbing a bathroom and it’s different for each project. Take some extra time to draw out your plans to make sure you’ll be running lines the best way possible.
Once you’ve run the waste and water lines, the rest of the job involves getting all the fixtures in place and hooking them up.
Problems with a leaky bathtub are often traced to the overflow tube. The overflow tube is a safety feature that helps channel water that has overfilled the tub back down into the drain pipes before it can spill over the edge of the tub.

A tub drain consists of two separate parts. The drain basket which connects to the drain shoe, and the drain overflow which connects to the drain shoe pipe. When these two parts connect together.
Replacing one of the washers with a reducing washer provides the transition needed to connect with the IKEA parts. The waste arm appears to attach to the J-bend by compression. The wall tube also provides the flexibility to work with the other parts in some off-kilter angles. In terms of the assembly, I started from each end of the connections sink and waste line and performed the cuts around the p-trap area. I actually wish that it is longer so I can set the vertical Y-branch two branches at the top for the sink drain and overflow at the far back corner of the cabinet.

How to Fix a Bathtub or Sink Pop-up Drain Stopper
Edit Answer for another minute There is a general rule – though I have never seen it spelled out in the code – that you do not put a “major fixture ahead of a minor fixture” – meaning as you go downflow in the drain lines except in the main 3 or 4″ stack you should not have a lower DFU fixture downflow on the line. I think this rule of thumb may be from the days of wet venting where a major flow like tub or washer emptying could pull the water out of the trap from lesses downflow fixtures, so may not apply fully with individually vented fixtures – but still a good rule of thumb because a washer discharging into a line with long run or bends could well back up partway in the drain line, potentially overflowing into the shower or any floor drain.
Obviously, you do not want to get it all installed and then find out there is an issue. Having the washer “upflow” of a lav would not overly worry me because soap suds and water would have to rise about feet to overflow that trap. However, having the shower downflow on the same line with only a foot or less rise to the drain opening would worry me – you could well get backup into the shower unless the downflow 3″ line from there is very easy flowing without a lot of length or bends before hitting the main stack.
• To connect the overflow valve, place the rubber gasket onto the overflow elbow, and position it behind the tub. • Attach the cover plate inside the tub to the overflow elbow and gasket behind the tub. • Connect the overflow pipe and drain pipe with a tee where the two meet. • Install the drain strainer onto the flange.
Lisa was following instructions. Carl was the only one behind the desk. She could still recall the way his long thick beautiful black cock had stretched her opening then descended to slam into the walls of her cervix. The next day she was so sore she could barely walk. Lisa felt warmth between her thighs as she opened the envelope. The Reverend had a gift for knowing what turned her on. It contained a plastic room key and a type written note. Lisa read the note. Lisa, Carl is letting us have the room for free, well, not exactly free.

Arizona This is my first post although I’ve used this forum quite a bit for a lot of good information. Installing a Delta Classic Acrylic Bathtub and I have a couple of questions about sealing the drain. In the instructions it says not to use plumbers putty which I’ve read about in the past.
Installing a tub isn’t an easy do-it-yourself project because it involves working with a large, heavy object in a small space. If you have any misgivings about doing it, hire a plumber who has the experience to install it and the license to hook up the fixtures.

How Does a Lavatory Sink Overflow Work?
If there is no debris in the pipe or spout, then there are a couple solutions for this. Adding a water flow restrictor to the pipe that runs up to the shower head might work. This would require cutting into the wall, though. But I believe that the better solution in my humble opinion is to raise the height of the pipe that goes to the shower head, because it involves no painting.

Those of us who inspect and repair HVAC systems for a living know that with the start of the AC season, the phone will begin to ring with cries from hysterical customers frantic about water dripping from their ceilings and water-soaked floors. Condensate may be behind their falling plaster and drenched carpets due to improper collection and control of this cooling-mode byproduct.
As air passes through the cooling coil of an air conditioner or heat pump, its temperature is lowered below the saturation point. While simultaneously hugging the fins of the coil and moving downward, moisture sucked from the air begins filling a collector positioned under the coil, which manufacturers call the primary condensate drain pan or just the condensate pan. As the pan fills, it must continually drain to prevent it from overflowing and causing damage to the equipment and to the surroundings.
The pan also must drain quickly and completely to prevent it from becoming an unhealthy pool of contaminants. Failure to do so can lead to personal and real property damage and even to life-threatening illnesses. Cased coils or coil boxes are often attached to furnaces. Photo from Carrier Literature Blow-through and draw-through systems The evaporators of air conditioners and the indoor coils of heat pumps, both used for cooling in summer, are installed so that a blower either pushes or pulls air over their cooling surfaces.
When air is pushed across, putting the coil under positive pressure, it is considered a blow-through or positive pressure system.
